HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Edna Earl Utley, 77, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 8:30 p.m. Saturday February 6, 2010 at her home.

She was born March 1, 1932 in Providence, Ky. to the late Carl Burton and Ruth Ann Burton. She was a retired LPN at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was an Eastern Star and was a member of Park Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Anthony Douglas Davis; second husband, Eddie Davis; third husband, John Wooten; fourth husband, Harry Whittaker; two grandchildren; several sisters and brothers.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Kevin) Dierdorf of Terre Haute, IN. and Cathy (Paul) Grant of Shepherdsville, Ky.; one son, Jordan (Johnna) Davis of Anton, Ky.; three sisters, Joyce Cowan of Clay, Ky., Judy Raymond of Calvert City, Ky. and Wanda Belt of Providence, Ky.; two brothers, Dee Burton of Providence, Ky. and Clyde Burton of Princeton, Ky.; three grandchildren, Kyle Grant, Jon Grant and Taylor Davis; a great grandchild, Payton Grant; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday February 10, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, with Rev. Douglas Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
